The benefits of AP classes
When people hear about taking an Advanced Placement (AP) class, they automatically think it is a lot of work and difficult. People who take these classes indeed have to put more time and effort into it, but there are also a lot of positives to taking an AP class as well. By taking these higher-level classes, students can become more responsible in their work and create great habits for the future.
AP Human Geography teacher Rebecca Williams explained that students who take these courses will develop important college skills.
“Your learning study skills, time-management skills, and what you’re going to need when you’re in college,” she said.
Becoming prepared for college is a key reason students sign up for the course.
