“My All American” joins the list of great sports films
A film’s job is to connect with you on a personal level, and Angelo Pizzo’s “My All American” achieves this goal.
The movie is emotional and joins the list of great sports movies such as“Rocky” and “Hoosiers.”
The film is the story of Freddie Steinmark and his journey from playing football in high school to playing in college at the University of Texas and overcoming obstacles like a rare form of cancer in his leg. Through it all, he is supported by his family, friends and coaches, and it makes you cheer for him.
All the actors in the movie give phenomenal performances with Aaron Eckhart as Coach Royal and Finn Wittrock as Steinmark being the standouts.
“My All American” is one of the best sports films I have ever seen. It is a story of triumph, strength and overcoming adversity to meet your.
