The future approaches for seniors
Ever dreamed about your future?
For seniors, that future is quickly approaching.
Senior Emily Hall has her future planned out.
“After high school, I want to attend Clemson University or Charleston Southern, really any school that has a pre-med program,” Hall said.
Hall also plans on cheering in college.
Senior Taylor Mathis has chosen her career based on her feelings about babies.
“I have a love for babies,” she said. “If I’m ever having a bad day and my nephews and nieces are over it just makes my world full. They just give me this happiness no one else can give.”
Mathis wants to attend Spartanburg Community College and then transfer to USC-Upstate. She plans on working a part-time job while attending college.
Although many students are planning on attending college, some are not.
Senior Cameron Machado wants to join the military.
He has been apart of the Chapman High School ROTC program since his Freshman year. He wants to attend Marine Corps because he loves the travel opportunity and the job experience.
After the military he wants to get his degree in Archaeology.
Senior Austin Holland also wants to join the military after high school.
Holland wants to attend college while in the military to get a computer degree.
