Thank you to the veterans
Veterans Day is a day where we come together to honor those who have fought for our country and also the ones still fighting.
I don’t think a thank you is enough.
Veterans have done so much for our country and they had the option to choose this lifestyle.
They have to miss their husbands/wives and their kids growing up.
People take that for granted and most people don’t realize how blessed they truly are.
My uncle is still fighting for our country.
He keeps his head held high and focuses on his job.
When his wife and child passed away, that’s when he realized he never spent enough time with them. He still can’t wrap his head around the fact that he took that for granted as well.
Life is short.
If you have someone or know someone that serves for our country, then honor and appreciate them as much as you can.
Our veterans’ bravery shouldn’t be honored for just one day, it should be honored everyday.
Some of our veterans retire and come home to nothing. Working a job that can’t pay enough for them to get a place to live, food in their stomach, or clothes on their back.
They shouldn’t have to come home feeling like an outsider. Our veterans deserve so much more than we give them credit for.
If you’re a veteran, I just want you to know you’re so appreciated and we honor you. You choose to fight for our country.
Thank you from an American who is free because of you.
