A letter to the editor
From the moment I walked into my first class of my high school career, nobody welcomed me more than Kinzie. After that class, I was no longer nervous, and I was prepared for not only the rest of that day but also for a fun-filled time at Chapman.
Kinzie’s title is the editor, and she holds the highest position in the class, just below Mr. Timmons. I believe that she is the only person that can do the job the way it is supposed to be done, and if I ever had the opportunity to be the editor, I know that I could never match her skill in writing.
I am very inspired by her because of the adversity that she has had to overcome and it has definitely not been a walk in the park. She juggles several difficult classes, as well as trying to fill out college applications at the same time.
The newspaper staff will definitely not be complete without you, Kinzie, but I will try my best to get used to it.
In some ways, I am very happy for you and what is in store for you, and I hope that you succeed and find the college that you feel like you have the best opportunity in. I also know that you will do what’s best for you, and you won’t ever give up when things get tough.
Over the seemingly hundreds of articles that you have written over your time in the class, I have learned so much from you and how you write. Your style is very unique, and you engage readers very well no matter what you are writing about.
You have taught me a lot during your time here, and I won’t ever forget you, and how much you helped me through the short two years that I have known you.
Please don’t ever forget me when you continue your journey through life, and always have fun and never let the bad outweigh the good.
