Students prepare to cheer on football team
The Chapman football team is on its way to state.
On Dec. 17, the team will head to Columbia and play its final game in Williams Brice Stadium at The University of South Carolina.
The long road to state has included hard workouts, long practices and only a few tough losses. However, support from the fans has been shown all the way down that long road.
“I am very excited about the team going to state,” sophomore Bailey Condrey said.
Condrey has been to many games and has shown all of her support to the team.
Junior Tori Bolton has been to every game this season and has been there for the team every step of the way and said she will support the team no matter what happens.
“Play your hardest, and win or lose, I’ll still support the team,” she said.
The seniors are the most excited about the team’s accomplishments.
“I love they are going to state my senior year,” senior Student Body President Iesha In said.
She will be in Columbia on Saturday cheering on the team along with many other seniors. She wants them to know that they have all of her support and that she is extremely proud of them for their accomplishments.
The football team has the support of Chapman and needs to know that win or lose, the student body is proud of them.
