How high school made me
Throughout high school, I have learned many different things including learning the real me.
I learned who my real friends were. Starting Chapman when I was freshman and not knowing a single soul was hard.
I made a few friends and went through a few best friends, but by my senior year, I found my true one.
We’ve been through a lot together, and she’s stood by my side through it all. Having a best friend to get through high school is a major key.
I found out that in order to make it through high school you must study.
Studying and cramming the night before a huge test or a project never works.
Well, it might work, but it won’t be your best work. You must start early and make it the best it could be.
You should make sure everything is turned in on time and never treat foreign language like a game.
All of these lessons have created me.
I was always the girl who stood up for herself, never backed down, but I truly didn’t know who I was.
I am bubbly, extroverted and; smart, the first one in my family to make a stand.
I’ve made my stand and choice to be the first to graduate college.
High school taught me that I have to make a change in my life and the only one in control of it is me.
I thank high school and all the people that made it a great experience.
I am who I am because of it.
