Zaxby’s coming to Inman
One of the most well known fast food restaurants in the south is coming to Inman: Zaxby’s.
Senior Brittany Edwards is excited for Zaxby’s because driving to Boiling Springs to the nearest Zaxby’s isn’t always convenient.
“When I seen the sign Zaxby’s I didn’t think it could be true but then they started building,” Edwards said. “Now, I’m more than excited for the new fast food stop Inman is bringing.”
Zaxby’s isn’t only for the students of Chapman, but it’s also for the teachers and administrators.
Assistant Principal Andrew McMillan is excited for Zaxby’s because it will bring many opportunities for the students and give those who travel through somewhere to sit down and eat.
“We have a partnership with Zaxby’s already, but one of the managers graduated from Chapman and he is really big in investing in Inman,” McMillan said.
Not only will it bring the students opportunities but it will also give Chapman opportunities.
“Instead of us having to hold the functions in Boiling Springs, we now have one in our own community,” McMillan said. “This will bring the students more jobs but also it’ll give the students and teachers another place to go.”
Sophomore Brandon Smith believes it’ll also bring more businesses into Inman.
“Zaxby’s might bring more people into Inman and get a feel of what our town is really like,” Smith said.
The first month or so will be really busy but that should be good for our community, McMillan says.
“I hope this brings our tourists the desired restaurant they hope to go too,” McMillan said. “Zaxby’s will be a family friendly place to sit down and enjoy their food.”
