English teacher Juile McAntyre was recently honored by Ingles Market as an Amazing Teacher. McAntyre was nominated by students.

“That means a lot to me that they thought enough of me as their teacher to do that, so I feel fantastic,” said McAntyre. Junior Jewel Richsardson said McAntyre’s personality was a reason she had been nominated.

“She’s a really outgoing teacher and she does everything she can to help others,” Richardson said.

McAntyre is known for her way of connecting with students. She helps students understand how the real world is going to be.

Junior Kimora Landrum believes that McAntyre is always ready to help. “She’s always there for her students no matter what the situation is, and if you’re confused on something, she’s right there to help,” said Landrum. “It’s never a no or figure it out or ask somebody else. She’s always on it already. The way she can relate to us as students. Most teachers can’t relate because they want to be so adult.”

McAntyre will make sure her students understand if they need help they come to her. “She speaks to you, she was really nice and she made sure you know that she would always help you,” said Richardson.

“She’s probably the best teacher I’ve ever had,” said Landrum.
