Predicting the 2017 NFL season

You might say that it is way too early to make any predictions about the upcoming NFL season. But with the 2017 NFL Draft just days away there are many variables that are going to shape the whole next season.

The draft will be a huge factor for very many teams this year as such as the Browns, 49ers, and the Bears who are all in need of a few key positions.

The 49ers and Bears need a quarterback and I believe that North Carolina’s Mitch Trubisky will definitely land on one of those rosters.

When it comes to the Browns, I am positive that their first step should be to build a better defense, and Texas A&M’s Myles Garrett is just what they asked for. Not only is he projected to be in the first round, but a great showing at the combine will earn him a sure spot in possibly first overall pick of the draft.

But looking at other things happening in the league, there is a positive look for the Panthers going into next season due to veteran Julius Peppers being acquired during the offseason. I believe that this trade will bring new life into the defense.

On top of that, Luke Kuechly seems to be fully back in action from a couple injuries suffered from last season with one being a severe concussion that sat him out for most of the season.

We can justifiably make better predictions also now due to the regular season schedule being released on Thursday, but there are no surprises involved — except for even more London games being on the platform this year.

Another big thing happening in the league is the Raiders moving the franchise to Las Vegas in 2019. With them playing their final seasons in Oakland in 2017 and 2018. This season could line up to be a little shaky for the Raiders, coming off of a playoff bid that ended in an injury stricken postseason.

What teams will prosper this year? What teams will struggle? It is all up in the air right now. But we will all have to hope for the best for our teams this year!
