Medical excuses shouldn’t count against seniors. Seniors are allowed to get out of their exams. Students must have a grade of 80 or above with two or less absences.
There are only a few absences that are not counted against you such as college visits, quarantine, religious holidays or death in the family.
Medical excuses are not counted against you during the normal school year as long as you have a note. That does go for other excuses as well. Medical excuses are for when you are sick for multiple days or just have a doctor’s appointment.
Medical excuses are counted against seniors who want to get out of their exams due to the fact students can end up missing multiple days.
You shouldn’t have a medical reason counted against you because you are unable to control if you end up getting sick.
