Zaxby’s arrives in Inman with high-quality food
The newly opened Zaxby’s in Inman has now been open for more than a week, and the overall response is very positive.
While the restaurant was literally packed for the first few days, Zaxby’s managed to produce quality service with off-the-chain food.
On the very first day, the staff had to implement a double drive-thru to keep the car’s flowing. But I think that it was executed perfectly considering the influx of people constantly pulling in or out.
The location of the restaurant is in a very busy part of Inman at the Main Street and Asheville Highway, so the traffic during lunch hours is non-stop.
I had the opportunity to visit the location on the second official day of opening, and the atmosphere was just like it had been open for years. The food was prepared and served almost immediately after ordering, and I did not even have to wait in line to order due to the excellent efficiency produced by the employees.
The meal I chose was the 10-piece boneless wings dipped in the original Zaxby’s sauce served with celery, and it was cooked to perfection. I get this exact meal often and I must say that this was certainly one of the best.
Despite having to park in the nearby Hardee’s parking lot, which was not Zaxby’s fault by no means, I give this restaurant 5 boneless wings of 5.
(A common complaint I hear frequently about Zaxby’s is charging you for extra sauce. I have never even had to get extra sauce because the sauce that is included is usually more than enough for me. But if you do use a large amount of sauce, it is still only a quarter. You could probably find one under the passenger seat of your car. Literally.)
I highly recommend this Zaxby’s location to any chicken connoisseur and anyone that loves “the good ice.”
