How necessary is a college education?
In today’s world, a college education is essential to have a bright future. We are told at an early age that going to college is very important; however, getting in and paying can be very difficult.
In order to get in, your grades need to be great, but most importantly, you need to have money.
But what if you come from a working middle-class family that can not afford 25,000 dollars or more a year? What if you are like 60% of America and do not have that extra money lying around to give to a college?
There is no need to worry because there are many opportunities out there in the world.
Rather than going to a four-year university, you can attend a two-year technical college. Most technical colleges offer scholarships and even full rides if your GPA is a certain number.
Jobs such as Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Technicians, Media Equipment Workers, Dental Hygienist, and Medical Sonographers make over $60,000 a year with an associate’s degree, according to the Bureau of Statistics.
While you are two years into your job, others would be graduating from a university with lots of debt.
Even though going to any type of college is a good idea, some jobs will allow you to be successful with a diploma. Jobs such as Agricultural Managers and Food Service Managers also make over 60,000 dollars a year,
Being successful is not about the school you go to or how much money you make. But not being in debt for the rest of your life sure can help!
