NFL Thursday Night Football backlash

Each NFL team plays one Thursday night a year as a unique game on the schedule. But recently, Thursday Night Football (TNF) has been the subject of backlash from many players who believe that the games are physically hard on the players.

Last Thursday after the Seahawks and Cardinals game, Seattle receiver Doug Baldwin tweeted that Thursday night games “should be illegal.”

Many players also believe that the Thursday game does not give players enough time to recover from Sunday’s game. The Thursday night games have been notorious for injuries and just, overall, bad football.

Many of the games have been low-scoring and not very entertaining games that are usually weird and unusual.

In the midst of all this, the NFL is considering expanding TNF by adding another game to make them double-headers.

Personally, I believe that the players make enough money where I don’t think that playing one Thursday game every season a problem to the players. There are many sports that play more frequently than football and do not complain about it.

For example, NHL teams play 3-4 games per week, and it is difficult to say that hockey isn’t a physically demanding sport.

If the players do not want to play one game per season on Thursday, they also have the right to sit out during the game.

Many fans look forward to these games and come out to support their favorite team. The players need to realize that and not forget that they make millions of dollars to play this game.

The Thursday night games may be inconvenient for the players, but it is only one time every season for each team.

They also give teams a chance to showcase the new Color Rush uniforms that are only used in these games.

I say that TNF should continue the way it is now. However, I do not believe that the NFL should add another game every Thursday night.

This Thursday night, the Pittsburgh Steelers host the Tennessee Titans, and it should be a pretty entertaining game.
