Burst pipe throws off sporting events

On Monday, March 5 a pipe burst in between Chapman’s baseball and soccer field, causing several disruptions with the afternoon sport’s schedule.

The burst pipe flooded the entrance between the two fields, and the entire school’s water was shut off, meaning no running water or working restrooms were available. All the events were cancelled or moved. Baseball was moved to Mabry, soccer went to play at Dorman, track was released early, and softball was cancelled. The issue was resolved and water has been turned back on at Chapman.
