For some students, learning continues beyond the classroom.
Students such as Vivian Lee and Camille Barnette said traveling with their families has allowed them to experience new cultures and perspectives.
Both students said their favorite destinations vary in pace and atmosphere. Lee said Amsterdam and Jamaica stood out because of their lively cultures and vibrant environments.
Barnette said France was her favorite destination due to its peaceful and elegant culture.
Despite the positives, both students said traveling can be exhausting.
“Traveling, especially with my family, causes a huge lack of sleep because we love to go do things,” Lee said.
Barnette agreed, noting the physical demands of travel.
“Traveling takes up a lot of time and can be draining,” Barnette said.
Even with those challenges, both students said the memories make the experience worthwhile. They said they hope to continue traveling and creating new memories with their families in the future.
