NBA Playoff Update

16 teams were given the opportunity to make it to the NBA final, but after 2 rounds of playoffs, only 4 teams still have the chance to win the championship.

First off, the Warriors breezed through the first rounds of the playoffs and easily defeated the Spurs and Pelicans, they seem to play even better now that Curry has rejoined the lineup. In order for the Warriors to make it to the finals, they have to go through Harden and the Rockets in order to do so.

The Rockets did not seem to have any problems beating the Timberwolves and Jazz, and they are working very well with each other especially on defense. They are scoring points off of turnovers and this is what they will have to continue to do in order to beat the high-powered Warriors.

In the Eastern conference, the Cavs did not have as easy of a path, the series against the Pacers went to game 7, and it seems like Lebron has to carry the team on his back in tough situations where the other playoff teams have more players to fall back on. They did not struggle with the imploding Raptors, who they swept in just four games.

I believe that the series against Boston will be very close and come down to the wire in every game. The Celtics will quickly need contain James in the paint.

My prediction for the finals is that the Warriors will face the Cavs for a fourth year in a row. These two teams have what it takes to get there, and they know what it takes to win championships.

The next NBA action will be on Sunday May 13th, where the Cavs will face the Celtics in game 1. On Monday, the Warriors will host the first game in the series against the Rockets. So tune into TNT and ABC to not miss a minute of the game.
