Netflix — the most popular app for days you just want to sit at home and binge-watch movies or T.V. shows or watch a movie with family or friends.

There are many good movies and shows to choose from, but there are some that stand out from all of the others.

If you’re looking for things to watch, here are some suggestions that I have enjoyed:

Bird Box

Bird Box is full of surprising scenes that keep you on your toes. It has a mystery of an evil force, that none of the characters saw coming their way. The only way you wouldn’t be affected by it, is if you were blindfolded. This is a great movie to watch if you want to see something that has a little scare to it as lead actress Sandra Bullock fights to survive against the forces — all while blindfolded.

To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before

If scary films aren’t your thing, and you are looking for a good romantic movie, I highly recommend watching To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before. It is one of the best romance movies, in my opinion. The main character, Lara Jean, had a secret crush on 5 boys. She wrote all of the 5 guys love letters but never gave the letters to them. The movie gets exciting when, one day, her little sister leaks the letters and Lara Jean’s life gets turned upside down. This is a really great, feel-good movie for anyone to watch. Netflix is releasing a sequel called P.s. I Still Love You, but there is no release date for it.

The Vampire Diaries

The Vampire Diaries is one of my favorite, binge-worthy T.V. shows. The show revolves around  Stefan and Damon fighting over the same girl, Elena. Little does she know, they are very different from everyone else. Warning: if you get really into the show, you may end up shedding some tears.

Coco

Now, if you just want to watch a good movie with your family I recommend watching Coco. It’s a good family movie that everyone will enjoy, especially if you or anyone in your family likes music. For kids younger than seven, or sensitive children, the movie may be scary.

These are some of the best movies and T.V. shows on Netflix, I highly recommend seeing all that are listed. You won’t regret it.
