Peak Cafe the new hit for local breakfast fans
Recently opened, Peak Cafe offers a wide variety of crepes and pastries, along with coffee and other beverages.
Peak Cafe is open every day of the week with long hours, making a perfect breakfast, brunch or post-meal dessert hangout. Throughout the week, they are open until 10 p.m., and until 11 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, so you and your friends can finish your night by sitting back, drinking coffee or eating ice cream.
The environment is clean, sophisticated and very relaxing for people of all ages. If you have small children, there is a room designated specifically for you called the “Kid’s Area.” This way, you can enjoy family time without worrying about bothering the others there looking for a quiet meal. The staff is extremely welcoming and helpful, which makes the experience that much more enjoyable.
While all of this is great, the food is by far the best part. There is a wide variety to choose from, everything from crepes, pastries, soups and sushi.
If you’re looking for a breakfast or brunch meal, I highly recommend the crepes. Breakfast crepes are perfectly filled with a combination of typical breakfast foods such as egg, sausage and bacon, and served from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. If you’re looking for something to satisfy your sweet tooth, the sweet crepes are a go-to. Peak offers everything from spiced caramel apple, strawberry Nutella and peanut butter & jelly crepes. The reviews on the savory dinner crepes are all positive as well. There is also an option to “Build Your Own,” so you can perfectly customize the meal you’re in the mood for.
My favorite item on the menu is the “Bubble Waffle Fruit Pie.” The waffle, packed with fresh fruit, chocolate sauce and whipped cream is just the right combination of sweet and savory and the perfect size to share.
While I’m not a coffee drinker, one of my coffee-guru friends loves going to Peak to get a Caramel Macchiato, and the Jasmine Blossom Tea is a favorite of my friends as well.
Everything on the menu comes at a reasonable, fairly cheap price. My sister and I had a sister date-day here, and it didn’t break the bank by any means. Crepes and most food are around $5, and the beverages are somewhere around $4. You can always count me in for high-quality food at a reasonable price!
Overall, I highly recommend visiting Peak Cafe. The service and environment is inviting and clean, the wide variety of food is cheap and delicious. The newly opened cafe does a perfect job catering to and welcoming a wide range of people and tastes!
