The Coronavirus is a recent virus that has taken over the internet and sending people into a panic. It started in China and is continuing to spread. 

To try to limit the spread of this newly discovered illness, the Chinese government has shut down many transportations and offers constant temperature checks, masks and a new hospital. If you get this illness you are expected to immediately get quarantined in a hospital. 

Although precautions have been taken, it is still spreading. There are 42,968 confirmed cases of the coronavirus and 1,018 deaths so far, but those numbers are increasing every day. If this virus continues to spread it could take over states and have everyone quarantined 

The virus is a combination of other viruses such as a common cold and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome. 

“The Coronavirus is similar to flu like symptoms; you got the fever, aches and the nausea,” science teacher Tina Gragg said.

Sometimes this virus causes death and other times people suffer little to no symptoms. This virus is causing the people in China to be forced to stay in their homes and if they do go out they have to have several health checks. Usually busy roads, stores, and restaurants are empty. With no customers, restaurants have been forced to sell the produce they have to make money. The people of China are working at home but making little to no money, raising questions about the future of the Chinese economy.
