Rhinehart named yearbook editor
Last week, junior Alex Rhinehart was named Editor-in-Chief of the Panorama yearbook staff for the 2020-21 school year.
Any returning staff members hoping for a chance to be offered the position must apply, write a letter of interest and be interviewed by both the Panorama adviser Alex Hollis and Chapman Principal Andrew McMillan. The two discuss and decide who will be offered the position.
Rhinehart’s leadership clearly stuck out to Hollis.
“Alex is a natural leader,” Hollis said. “Not only does she possess the talent to lead vocally, she also leads by example. She is a very hard worker.”
Rhinehart has been on staff since her sophomore year and being named editor has been a goal since she began.
“I’ve made some of the best friends I will ever have through yearbook, and it’s been a great experience,” Rhinehart said. “I’m very honored to have been given this opportunity.”
Hollis is ready to see Rhinehart lead the Panorama staff towards the best productions possible, and he is looking forward to seeing what she will accomplish in the upcoming year.
“The main thing I look forward to is seeing her refine her leadership skills,” Hollis said. “I am very confident that she will handle everything impressively.”
Rhinehart already has big ideas in regards to organization and staff structure that she hopes will help the staff make better yearbooks year after year.
“I’m excited to lead,” Rhinehart said. “I’m looking forward to sharing my ideas and hope that I can continue the Panorama standard of excellence.”
