Turning over a new leaf
Is the arrival of fall turning a new leaf? Life has been rather crazy this year, but fall time could bring a sense of normalcy back into this world. There are plenty of new activities and things to look forward to this time of year.
As of September most schools in the United States have allowed students to return to school in some type of way. All schools are doing something different, but the idea of being back in school brings normalcy back into student’s and teacher’s lives.
Football is very important in a lot of people’s lives and is making a comeback. Most high school football teams have started back and college and NFL teams are returning to play. This not only benefits the players, but also all of the fans who enjoy watching them play.
With the end of summer people were running out of things to do and getting bored of doing the same thing over again. Fall brings an abundance of new things to do that bring joy back into life.
Pumpkin patches, apple orchards, haunted houses, and hay rides are some activities that people have started to enjoy. Restaurants have special fall foods, coffee stores have pumpkin-flavored drinks, and clothing stores have switched the summer clothes out for cozy fall apparel.
October brings Halloween, pumpkin carving and watching scary movies.
November brings election day and Thanksgiving. Many people are looking forward to Election Day, whether they are excited or nervous, and it gives them something to plan toward and prepare for. Thanksgiving means spending time with family and eating delicious food.
There are so many new and exciting things to do during fall in contrast to the summer which was overwhelmed with the coronavirus and nothing to do.
