Looking into 2021

As 2020 got worse with every passing month, people became more desperate for a new and better year. Some people even believed that COVID-19 would completely vanish without a trace when the new year started.

Since worldwide viruses can’t instantly disappear, that theory was quickly proven wrong by science, but that doesn’t mean that 2021 can’t still be a better year.

Realistically, there is no way to be 100% sure of how an entire year will go and be 100 %right, but that doesn’t mean you can’t look at the new year with hope and positivity.

After the events at the Capitol, people’s expectations for 2021 were brought down. Even though the new year may not be looking very positive, acting like it is can be harmful.

It’s important to express emotions in appropriate ways that don’t involve raids and destruction

It is important to remember that hate speech is not free speech.

With Valentine’s Day quickly coming up in Februarypeople will likely be celebrating. However, the pandemic is still here, and hopefully, people will remember that and stay safe while celebrating Valentine’s Day and other holidays.

Although the distribution of a COVID-19 vaccine is expected to slow the spread and maybe even come to an end, we can only hope.

That being said, there might even be another quarantine lockdown again, similar to last year.

Overall, I think that 2021 will be 2020 but a little tamer.
