Snider takes on new role as yearbook editor

For three years, Kaytlin Snider has been a staff member for Chapman’s yearbook, “Panorama.”

This year, though, she is assuming new responsibilities: Editor.

Yearbook adviser Alex Hollis chose her after seeing her work.

“With three years of experience coming in, Snider is still a hard worker and very detail oriented,” Hollis said. “She notices the small things, which in the end actually matters.”

Hollis said that he wants this yearbook to be better than the previous one, and he thinks Snider will help make that happen.

Snider has plans for improvement.

“As a leader of Chapman High school’s yearbook team I would like to have better pictures and more coverage, including more of our students and groups into our book,” Snider said.

The process, she said, is not easy.

“It’s challenging when it comes to us meeting deadlines when we’re trying to make a book that students and faculty members can be proud of.”

Yearbook staff members said that Snider is doing a great job so far.

“She keeps everything organized and does great at her job,” sophomore Jacob Pryor
said.

One of Snider’s responsibilities includes encouraging people to purchase a yearbook. She has a sales pitch:

“The yearbook is a great way to hold on to your High School memories later on you
might want to remember some of the brightest years of your life.”
