Sometimes Chromebooks can be helpful, but it’s my firm belief that we would be way better off with just textbooks instead. 

By using textbooks, you wouldn’t have to worry about having to keep up with a charger and keeping it charged. Most people do their work better when they are not using Chromebooks and are using paper. I think by using textbooks, we wouldn’t have the problem of students missing out on assignments because the computer is missing or broken.

It shows that people who read print are able to comprehend it more. Textbooks don’t require the internet and textbooks help better with notes. Some math teachers say that “textbooks made a substantial difference in students’ achievements”.

When some people are using Chromebooks, they tend to get distracted easier using textbooks could change that. Textbooks give you all the plans and the topic in one. I feel that textbooks could save time and get the point across faster. Textbooks are an organized resource for learning. Using textbooks they would last a lot longer than Chromebooks.

Although Chromebooks do seem like they get work done faster, textbooks result in helping you understand it more. Chromebooks really don’t help you remember what you are learning about.It does sound bad having to carry around a bunch of textbooks they can help. I know that using textbooks sounds boring, but they do seem to improve people’s learning.
