Sky Donut Cafe is a new Vietnamese doughnut shop in Lyman that opened Feb. 8.
It offers a fairly large menu despite its small interior.
Ian got a glazed doughnut. It was large for the price at $1.25. He said it was fluffy and tasted fresh out of the oven.
Brayden got a bacon, egg and cheese croissant and a regular doughnut. He said the croissant was fresh and fluffy, and the bacon was cooked well. He also said the doughnut was solid and a good value for the price.
Declan got a bacon, egg and cheese bagel and a Korean iced coffee. He said the bacon was crispy, and the eggs were soft instead of spongy.
He said the iced coffee was good and not too sweet. It came sealed with a lid similar to boba tea and included sweetened condensed milk.
The cafe also has other menu items for sale. However, they were sold out of some items while we were there, so we were not able to try everything.
Other options include hot coffee, biscuits, egg rolls and kolaches.
It is open Monday through Saturday from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. Make sure to get there early because it sells out quickly.
Overall, we think Sky Donut Cafe could become a well-known place in the Upstate. It has good food, delicious drinks and a cozy atmosphere. We highly recommend visiting it.
