5. Greenville Zoo

The Greenville Zoo is open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and admission is $9.75. At the zoo, you can spend your day exploring and visiting the different types of animals from all around the world such as Aldabran Tortoises and Vietnamese Pot-Bellied Pigs. On Tuesday, they will be having a program called Tell Me About It Tuesdays where they choose a large selection of animals to talk about. On April 3, Tell Me About It Tuesday will be focused on African Animals such as Masai Giraffes.

 

4. Music on Main

Music on Main is a great place to enjoy live music from soul, pop, rock and blues bands. Music on Main will be held every Thursday from April 5 to July 26. It is held at Morgan Square in Downtown Spartanburg from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., and admission is free. Food and drinks are available, and a portion of sales go to local theaters.

 

3. Escape Room Adventures

Escape Room Adventures is in Spartanburg, and it costs $21 per person. The Escape Room also offers 3 virtual reality rooms for $15 per hour. Groups can have up to 12 players, and you can choose from CSI, Harry Potter, Indiana Jones, Military and Black and White themed rooms. At the escape room, your group is locked in a room, and you have an hour to find clues and solve puzzles that will help you get out.

 

2. Movies

Admission will be $6 to see Batman from 1966 on April 2 and Superman from 1978 on April 6 at the Upcountry History Museum in Greenville. Local movie theaters will be showing movies such as “Ready Player One”, “Black Panther”, “I Can Only Imagine” and “Love, Simon”.  On Tuesdays, Regal theaters have “Half off Tuesdays” where tickets will be $5.09 all day.

 

1. Frankie’s Fun Park

Frankie’s Fun Park is in Greenville, and the prices vary based on what you want to do. Frankie’s has road courses and laser tag which cost $7 per person and mini golf courses for $8 per person. Frankie’s also has a large arcade with the newest games as well as everyone’s favorite classics.
