So I did a thing today…I finally talked to Kennedy. Jack swore I was lying when I told him! He’s always so doubtful of me. It was so amazing though. I saw her sitting alone at lunch and I was hesitant at first, but something just pushed me over the edge and I can’t quite figure it out. That’s beside the point though it doesn’t matter. I did what I needed to do. When I sat down with her she kind of looked at me funny when I started eating. Honestly, I don’t blame her, it’s not every day you see someone eating tofu, especially a 17-year-old. She’s very open-minded though, she was curious about why I’m a vegetarian. I almost didn’t wanna tell her my thoughts on the meat industry because I didn’t want her to think I’m a snowflake or something, but she seemed genuinely interested in what I had to say. She even looked like she might agree with me. Towards the end of lunch, I asked her for her number and she looked a little shocked at first. It doesn’t matter though, she still gave it to me. I’m going to text her later. I’m super nervous though, I really don’t wanna mess this up. I’m gonna really have to think about this.
